More about me...

With 10 years of experience as an HR leader, I’ve witnessed first-hand the challenges businesses face in building a culture that supports employees in their careers, enables them to balance work and home responsibilities without burning out, and provides the resources for ongoing development—all while meeting business objectives.

After becoming a parent, I saw things from a different perspective. I was still driven and eager to progress in my career, but I also wanted to be present for my daughter. Balancing this with the constant juggle of tasks at home and the immense responsibility of raising a child, while keeping up with work priorities, made it clear why so many parents experience burnout or choose to work part-time.

It made me realise that, more often than not, parents and employers share a common goal: to do a good job with as little stress as possible.

The real challenge is finding the balance that supports parents both at work and at home, while still achieving business objectives.

I want working parents to THRIVE, not just survive, as they navigate this new chapter in life!

My coaching programmes are rooted in neuroscience, giving parents the space to talk through their emotions, identify triggers and overcome their limiting beliefs.

My clear framework supports businesses to embed and maintain a positive workplace culture:

  1. One-to-one coaching - working with individuals to face some of their difficult emotions and challenges. Using tools to be able to adapt and manage this new chapter in life.

  2. Our Thoughtful Leadership workshop, ensures leaders are equipped with the knowledge and skills to foster an inclusive, supportive work environment.

  3. Full review and implementation of HR and recruitment policies and practices to offer the right level of support, information and opportunities for parents.

Here's what you can expect when working with me...

  • As an Associate Certified Coach, through the ICF, I offer coaching that is ethical and evidence based and is informed by neuroscience.

  • With over 10 years experience in HR, I am well equipped to advise on a wide range of HR practices, policies and employee relations.

  • My work is based on results and I give ongoing support to help businesses achieve their goals.

  • I’m here to represent your business! My programmes can be adapted to meet individual business needs.

  • My passion for people is infectious and I always bring positive energy into my work.

  • My background as a HR leader allows me to look at situations from both the employer and employee perspective - what is put in place has to benefit both parties!

  • I pride myself on my ability to build strong relationships with everyone I work with.

Supporting parents on their return to work is a subject close to my heart. Having a child has long been considered career suicide, particularly for women and with 84% of mothers facing challenges returning to work after maternity leave, there is a lot of work that needs to be done!

Having personally experienced the impact that having a child can have on your career, my mission is to help parents through coaching, to feel confident, secure, and excited about returning to work!

My work extends beyond coaching one-to-one with parents, I also support business owners and leaders with the tools to promote a culture that is inclusive and supportive - welcoming parents back to work with open arms!
